My "WHY" for eldercare!
Like so many families, ours was suddenly faced with the life-changing diagnosis of Alzheimer’s dementia in someone we love deeply. As we were still trying to process the news, our world shifted again—Mom tripped over a curb, severely breaking her arm and requiring major surgery. In that moment, everything changed. We looked at one another and asked the question so many families face: What now?
It became clear that Mom could no longer live safely on her own and would need care. We were unprepared. The emotional weight, the urgency of decisions, and the unfamiliar eldercare system left us overwhelmed and stressed. Our family was thrown into a crash course in eldercare—one filled with confusion, hard lessons, and very little guidance.
That experience changed me!
I made the decision to dedicate myself to helping other families navigate this complex and emotional journey—so they wouldn’t have to face it alone or learn the hard way as we did. During this time, we began to see Mom’s life not as an ending, but as her next chapter—one that deserved to be guided with compassion, respect, and dignity.
Next Chapter for Seniors was born from that promise: to help families move forward with clarity, confidence, and care—honoring every life and every story along the way.

My professional career has always centered around coaching, guidance, and support during major life transitions. I’ve spent most of my business life as an owner in the real estate industry—including mortgage, construction, and real estate sales—industries that naturally intersect with pivotal next chapters in people’s lives. Whether helping someone move to a new home, downsize to a condo, or build a home for the future, my work has always been about guiding people through change with clarity and confidence.
When my own family was suddenly thrust into the eldercare world, I experienced firsthand how overwhelming and fragmented the system can be. I was struck by the lack of clear information and meaningful support available to families who are already under tremendous emotional stress. The frustration was real—and it became a turning point for me.
I made a commitment to change that experience for others.
Today, I dedicate my work to streamlining eldercare information and providing compassionate, knowledgeable support to families navigating this difficult season. The experience and insight I’ve gained within the eldercare industry is extensive, and my goal is to help families save time, protect their resources, and—most importantly—reduce stress during an incredibly challenging time.
